Terms and Conditions for Carriers

These terms and conditions apply to every carrier that registers with, accesses, or carries out transport assignments via Droppr Shipping.

Droppr NV, with its registered office at Nieuwe Steenweg 62, 9140 Temse and company registration number 1020.116.732, operates the online shipping platform Droppr Shipping and is hereinafter referred to as “Droppr”.

By using Droppr Shipping and/or accepting a transport request via the platform, the Carrier confirms that it has read and accepts these terms and conditions.

Article 1 – Scope and use of the platform

Droppr Shipping is a digital shipping platform that connects Shippers and Carriers for the transport of goods by road, both domestically and internationally.

These terms govern the Carrier's access to and use of Droppr Shipping.

The Carrier also declares that it has read and accepts Droppr's General Terms and Conditions. The General Terms and Conditions can be consulted at any time at https://www.droppr.be/algemene-voorwaarden and form an integral part of these terms and conditions.

Article 2 – Access as a Carrier

To use Droppr Shipping as a Carrier, the following documents must be provided upon registration and kept up to date:

• Crossroads Bank for Enterprises extract and company number
• Copy of the representative's identity card
• Transport licence of the Carrier and/or any subcontractors
• Proof of insurance of the Carrier and/or any subcontractors
• Bank certificate

Accurate and up-to-date information and documentation are essential requirements for using Droppr Shipping.

Droppr reserves the right, at any time and based on an administrative or substantive review of the information and documentation provided, to suspend or deny access to the platform, in whole or in part, if any information or documents are incomplete, invalid, expired, or have been changed without prior notice.

Article 3 – Fees and Payment

By accepting a transport order via Droppr Shipping, the Carrier authorizes Droppr to collect the freight charge from the Shipper.

The balance for completed transport services will be transferred on the 2nd or 16th of each month for transport services that were fully completed (pickup and delivery) during the preceding period, with the service fees deducted automatically.

The percentage or amount of the service fees will be communicated in advance when the transport request is accepted. The service fees cover, among other things, the platform usage rights, brokerage, administrative processing, and any payment transaction fees.

Article 4 – Duration, Termination and Suspension

These terms apply for as long as the Carrier has access to or uses Droppr Shipping.

Droppr has the right to suspend or terminate access to Droppr Shipping or the partnership with immediate effect in the event of a serious breach, misuse of the platform, or incomplete, invalid, or expired documents as provided for in Article 2.

Acceptance of these terms

By registering as a Carrier on Droppr Shipping, using the platform and/or accepting a transport request through Droppr Shipping, the Carrier confirms that it has read and accepted these terms and conditions.

These terms are accepted electronically through the use of Droppr Shipping; no separate document containing names or signatures is included.
